Bottom Dollar Designs
Notes from the designer.
Interior design may be hard work, but along with being a mother, is a big piece of happiness in my life. My clients likely would describe my design style as limitless and accommodating. I love to push the boundaries of what can be achieved. Clients with smaller budgets love my creative, can-do spirit and those with ample spaces and grand ideas admire my ability to communicate actionable plans that match their energy and enthusiasm.
Interior design has cropped up in my life since I was little. A young Jamie would move around her bedroom, reworking the design till it was just right. I felt happy and proud when my environment matched my inner feelings and emotions. When it came time to pick a professional path, my love for animals steered me toward veterinary school. I worked as a veterinary tech for three years. Mom duties took over, and I decided it was best to stay home, raising my two boys, Lincoln and Jackson. If design is a piece of my happiness, my two boys make up the rest. To continue staying with my boys, I started taking on interior design work at the request of friends who knew my passion for design. Requests became more frequent, and I knew the possibility of being an interior designer full-time was a dream being shaped into reality.
Shifting focus to the present day, I am now the proud owner of Bottom Dollar Designs, a mother-owned interior design service based in Sarasota, Florida. I look forward to connecting, listening to your vision, and creating the space of your dreams.
